Dayanim Rabbis Yehuda Silman and Sariel Rosenberg announced today a ban of the “Whatsup” application. The letter was publicized in the Yated Ne’eman newspaper. The rabbis claim that the application is dangerous and its use can lead to the destruction of families.
Recently the rabbis permitted the use of internet free devices, and have now clarified that they are permitted for work – related purposes only.
