Nuclear deal: Today (Tuesday), will discuss the US Senate plenary amendments to the bill to limit the authority of President Barack Obama, regarding the agreement with Iran, and allow the parliament to oversee it.
Plenary will discuss the different amendments thereto law under the agreements between the Republicans and the Democrats, and is expected to vote on approval of the law.
Some worried a presidential veto on the law, is precisely House Speaker John Boehner, who said at a closed conference that he does not believe that the Republicans Igiso enough votes to override a presidential veto.
Boehner’s spokesman said: “Require only a handful of Democrats in the House and Senate to delay the veto. But it is impossible to say whether they will do so, until we know what the final deal looks”.
The law passed three weeks ago, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee unanimously, with all 19 members voted for the law, after the agreements reached by Republicans and Democrats.
